Welcome to the website of Melbourne Chemical Packaging and Processing Pty Limited (ABN 53 100 873 241), trading as McPak ("McPak", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website, submitting an inquiry, or engaging our chemical toll packaging, blending, or filling services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Service Scope & Contract Manufacturing
McPak provides chemical contract manufacturing, toll blending, liquid dosing, powder packaging, sieving, and Dangerous Goods handling services. All service orders are subject to a formal written agreement, quotation confirmation, and accurate Safety Data Sheet (SDS) disclosure provided by the client prior to processing.
2. Client Responsibilities & Chemical Safety Data Sheets
The client warrants that all raw chemical materials, bulk liquids, powders, and containers supplied to McPak comply with relevant Australian chemical safety regulations, including WorkSafe Victoria standards and Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) Code classifications. The client must supply current, GHS-compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all materials prior to delivery at our Campbellfield facility.
3. Quotations & Pricing
Quotations generated online or provided by our technical representatives are estimates based on client-provided specifications (e.g. liquid viscosity, bulk density, container type, volume). Final pricing may be adjusted if the delivered raw materials differ significantly from stated specifications or require additional hazard mitigation measures.
4. Dangerous Goods (DG) Handling Compliance
McPak is licensed and equipped to handle Class 3 (Flammable Liquids), Class 6.1 (Toxic Substances), Class 8 (Corrosives), and Class 9 (Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods). The client remains responsible for ensuring that all Dangerous Goods delivered to McPak carry proper UN packaging approval numbers and accurate transport documentation.
5. Quality Assurance & ISO Standards
All batch blending, crushing, and liquid filling operations are performed under our strict ISO 9001 Quality Management System. McPak warrants that processing will conform to mutually agreed product specifications. In the event of a quality non-conformance attributable solely to McPak’s processing, our liability is limited to re-processing the affected batch or refunding the processing fee paid for that specific run.
6. Intellectual Property & Formulation Confidentiality
McPak respects client intellectual property rights. All chemical formulas, proprietary blend ratios, and customer batch sheets disclosed to us remain the exclusive property of the client. We maintain strict non-disclosure safeguards across all contract manufacturing runs.
7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
